Chapter 4 - Heart Rumors

This chapter talk about the sickness of Mrs. Scarlatti. She has to go to hospital. During that time, Ezra always visit and take care her. In the hospital, Ezra made some friends who are patient and their relatives. Mrs. Scarlatti is so sick and she thought she will be died. She want Ezra manage her restaurant. Therefore Ezra think if this restaurant wast just him, he will change a lot of thing in this. He grew feverish with new ideas. This restaurant will be change the homesick restaurant. He'd cook what people felt homesick for - tacos like those from vendors' carts in California, which the Mexican was always pining after, and that wonderful vinegary North Carolina barbecue that Todd Duckett had to have brought by his mother several times a year in cardboard cups. About Jenny, Ezra's sister came back home when she got semester break. Ezra and his mother thought there are some problems between Jenny with her husband, Harley. She never mentioned him all fall and maybe even summer and they think she left him. Mrs. Scarlatti can go home with the nurse who will take care her. Now Ezra is so nervous about the restaurant because he change it a lot. When she came back restaurant, she is very surprise and said he might at least have waited till she died. Ezra want to explain to her but he can't. One day in March, she died. Before she died, she talk with her nurse that tell Ezra to change the sign, it's not Scarlatti's restaurant anymore.

That's a pity when Mrs. Scarlatti died. I wonder Is Ezra right? What are you guide think about that? He made Mrs. Scarlatti angry. Now I can understand about the tittle of this story. That's reason Andy named it. Furthermore, what happen with Jenny and her husband? Did they break up or not? What will Ezra do after Mrs. Scarlatti die? This story will more and more exciting. I really want to know about the ending of this but i can't read a lot in this week. I hope I can do well next week and let you know. Thanks for your attention
