Buck is the harness leader, the only enemy. He is jealous of Buck. Because Francois discovers that Spitz is missing and praises Buck. They are playing the harness. It’s not an easy game. They are trying to win the leadership of dogs. Buck won’t let Francois have any choice, even though his team is the rest to the team. Francois is so surprised and thrilled to learn that Buck excels at leading, whipping the rest of the team into shape. Buck let Pike to carry his share of his burden, and he soundly punishes Joe for his bad behavior. They pick up two new dogs, Teek and Koona, and Francois is astounded by how quickly Buck breaks them. They take a record time back to getting points, and the whole team struts proudly through the town. The reached their goals. Buck won the leadership and got the mastery over the other dogs.
It’s so hard to imagine that Buck made it so soon. Every body does what Buck let them do. He just shows his ambition and unbelievable abilities. He made a rest of team to be a solidaric team. I think every body should think about how to reach their goals. Buck is not only smart but also working hard on his dogs.

In some ways, Buck is acting as intelligently and as efficiently as a human. I wonder if that is something that the writer wants us to admire, or to deplore, or both?
