Many people who live around Harriet gossiped about how Dr.Flint was harassing her. Mr.Sands who knew her grandmother kindly asked about Dr.Flint's harassment. He is white man, but she became his lover. however, Dr and Mrs. Flint got angry again. Mrs. Flint lied to harriet's grandmother that Harriet got pregnant between Dr Flint. Grandmother believed and got angry. Finally she believed, but Harriet prayed she whould die many times because of terrible situations. She became ill.
I found a lot of sad and similar vocabularies.
I don't like Dr and Mrs, Flint's DIRTINESS. It makes me so annoying. However, Harriet was still strong even though she is young. When I read that she prayed she whould die, I was sad. Young people should not think like that....

It doesn't make me annoying to read this, but it does make me annoyed! Yes, it is sad that so many people think about dying, and suicide, when they have problems. It's so easy for us to forget that problems are always temporary, and that things will change.
