“The long Good-bye”

The author was always appreciating for what her mother had done for her. Children are really hard to be a real friend with their friends in the old days. Maybe right now, the situation is getting better. However, the author in this case, she felt lucky because her mom was her best friend. For example, whenever the author went on a date her mother and her was always having a conversation after Linda came back from the date. Her mother likes to give Linda advises after she met boys. On the other side, the author’s mother also has a strict side. For instance, the rules in the house were pretty serious for the author. Everything changed after they moved to New York. The author’s dad had Alzheimer’s, and then Linda broke her promise sent her father to a nursing home. Therefore, her mother moved to live with the author when her mom was at age ninety-two. Instead of always been taking care by her mom, at the end the role between her mom and the author switched. She felt sad because her mom was no longer live strong like before. But the love never changed between them.

“A Campaigning Mom”

This article is a very short one. The basic idea is about how’s author’s mom support her in everything. After I been through more than half articles of this book, I found out that a mother’s support could effect their children a lot in their life. Even a very simple word came out mother’s mouse can give her children lots of energy to finish something unbelievable. Like this one, the author mentioned how different her mom and she view things different, still her mom always on her side. For example, at the year 1972, a mother with two very young children announced to be a congress is unusual and can not understood by majorities. However, when the time people questioning about the events, the author’s mom stand out and fight back to those questioners. That is giving me an idea. Love is a miracles, not matter when and how is the thing which goes forever.

My opinion
When the time that a person was given a birth he or she became a baby, and they are going to acting like a baby until they finally realized the word responsible then became an adult. After lives coming to the end, the life circle will finally back to the beginning. Therefore, an old baby will appears. Like the first article, mom was taking care of her daughter, and then she became old, so mom and daughter switched the role. The daughter starts taking care of her mom. But love never changed. Therefore, I believe something between people will never change as long as their soul had been touched even though only for one single second. I felt into it and that what I am believing right now. And I will always keeping my promise that keeping her in mind for everything.
