Harry Potter and Socerer's Stone, chap 8-9 pg 131-160

In the chapter 8, Harry learned about transfigration from Professor McGonagall; Transfiguration is to change a figure to another one. In addition, he also learned about potions. Potions are liquid something to make magic. Students who had lived with wizard family knew these magic, but Harry didn't know about these magic well because he had lived in muggle. When Snape teacher asked Harry about these magic, he didn't answer anything. Hagrid comforted him when he was invited by Hagrid and went to Hagrid house.

In the chapter 9, Harry and his friends learned how to fly by broomstick; to stick out with the right hand and say up. Some of his friends were afraid of flying high by broomstick, but Harry enjoyed flying. When they were learning how to fly, Malfoy played with Neville's remembrall his grandmom gave him. Harry was running after Malfoy to give back Neville's remembrall by broomstick. Malfoy dropped it toward the ground, at last Harry caught it in his fist after a five-feet dive. Prof. Mcgonagall was surprising to see Harry's excellent dive even thogh he was the first time. Then she introduced Harry to Wood who's the captain of Grinffindor's Quidditch team that had never won Slytherine team for a few years. Harry became the member of Grinffindor's team despite the first year of school.

I enjoy reading the chapter 8 and 9 because there are some exciting story such as potion, transfiguration and broomstick. When I was a child, I read the story of the wizard and broomstick. I think the broomstick is a symbol of the magic and wizard. Transfiguration is also another symbol of them. When you were children, maybe you had ever thoght you change something like a bird at least one time. I did so. After I read these chapters, I came back my childhood and imagined the wizard with smile on my face.
