Chapter 5: The country cook
In this chapter, Andy talk about girlfiends of Cody and Ezra. Cody has a lot of girlfriends. When they saw Ezra, they felt in love with him. That's why Cody always don't like Ezra and he find any ways to take revenge on his brother. One day, Ezra brought his girlfriend, Ruth and introduced her with his family. After that Cody want to have courship with Ruth. Ezra didn't pay attention about that. Eventually, Ruth and Cody told to him that they are very sorry about that and get married. Ezra is very surprise. Ruth and Cody got married in the different statewithout their family. After the wedding, they move to many state that Cody has the job in there. After this shock, Ezra don't want to get married with other. When Cody and Ruth come back his home, Cody always worry about the relationship between Ruth and Ezra. Cody always jealous. On the other hand, Ezra always want to have a dinner with his whole family but he can't. They didn't do that for many different reasons. About Jenny, she gets married second time with Sam Wiley that a scrawny little artist type, shifty eyed and cocky (according to Cody's thought).

Chap 6: Beaches on the Moon
In that time, Ruth and Cody have a child. His name is Luke. When he was born, Pearl was very happy. However, she come to his son's house until her grandson was 2 years old. Then, when Luke is 8 years old, Cody and Ruth come back to his home and visit his mom. Cody still afraid of his brother. He's afraid that Ezra will steal his wife and his son. Therefore, he visit and talk with his mom in the shortest time and go away. Pearl thought that her family was fail. Neither of her sons is happy, her daughter can't seem to stay married.

Opinion:
Cody is the bad brother. he stole his brother's future wife. Ezra felt upset after this shock. i wonder when Pearl's family can have the dinner together in the homesick restaurant? How Pearl can heal between her sons? I have a lot o questions about them.
