"Charlie and the chocolate factory" by Roald Dahl ( p 47-155)

Right now, Charlie was one of five children who could visit the Wonka’s factory. On the next day, Charlie went along with grandpa Joe and other four children with their parent. They met Mr.Wonka who welcomed them to have a fantasy day. The chocolate room which, they visited first, everything in there was made from chocolate or candy, include the river and all the beautiful flowers. They also saw Oompa-Loompas, the secret worker of Mr. Wonka. Augustus was so greedy that he fell to the river. Luckily, Oompa-Loompas saved him. Now, four children left. Then they went to the inventing room where Mr.Wonka showed his latest invention, meal chewing gum. By an accident, Violet chewed one and became blue and purple, and blown up like a balloon. Another one left. Next, they went to “ The nut room” where there were hundreds of squirrels were working. Veruca Salt ignored what Mr.Wonka said, she went inside to catch a squirrel. As a result, she was thrown to the main garbage of the factory. At that time, only two good kids left. Mr.Wonka brought them to the unique elevator which can take them to everywhere in the factory. Mike Teavee was excited about television so he chose "The Television Chocolate Room". In that room, Mr.Wonka invented a machine that could transfer everything to TV. So curious, he sent himself to TV and became such a little boy that no one couldn’t hear him. Finally, only Charlie Bucket overcame all challenges. Now, the award of the winner was that Charlie would run the chocolate factory as soon as he was old enough, and his whole family could live together in the factory without any worry about food.

In my opinion this is a fantasy book, and easy enough for everyone to read. I have seen this movie but I can’t understand a lot, now everything is clearer with me. If you want to find something to read, you should have a look on this book.

Wow! You read over a hundred pages in one week! That's very impressive. Congratulations!

I love this book, too. The movies (there have been two made of this book) are fun, but not nearly as fun as the book. If you are interested in continuing Charlie's adventures, there is a sequel to this book, called "Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator."
