Bridge of Terabithia page 94--128

It is a perfect day and nice experience for Jess. Jess with Miss.Edmund go to the museum and eat lunch together. On the way home,Miss.Edmund tells to Jess some funny stories. However, when Jess arrive home,Brenda tells to Jess that Leslie dead.

Jess couldn't believe that his best friend just left him.He wants to cry and yelling "No"! He wants to tell to Leslie his perfect day and ask he so many questions, but now how can he say.

Jess and his family go to Leslie's house. Every people feels so sad.Bill tells to Jess,Leslie is so happy that Jess is her best friends. Then, he goes to the river and pours all the panit that Leslie gave to him for Christmas.

Jess gets start to build a bridge for Leslie and May Belle. When Jess build the bridge,he hears May Belle yells "help" and then save to her. Finally, when he finish to build the bridge,he bring May Belle to the Terabithia. Thus, ther is only one Queen of Terabithia that is belong to May Belle.

Finally, I finish to read this book.I agree this is a nice book, but I really don't like the ending. It was so sad. Jess had a perfect day,but at the next second he lost his best friend. If the ending can be change,I think it is going to be a wonderful book. Leslie didn't die. They can together to make a perfect kindom, but I don't have magic to change. However, if they have next life, I wish they can be friend forever.

Yes, it's a very sad ending, but I think that may be why the book is so memorable. It's often true that we remember pain more than we remember pleasure! Also, Leslie's death can be seen as a kind of Chrsit-like sacrifice; her death allows May Belle to enter Terabithia.
