The Adventures of Huck Finn

The Adventures of Huck Finn by Mark Twain 149-172

-Many farmers get together in Mrs.Phelps house. All of them have a gun. Therefore, Huck got worried. When Huck, Tom, and Jim ran away, Tom was shot by gun. After all people found Jim. They said that people have to hang Jim's neck, so show result of slave run away from their boss. After that, Tom and Huck told true to Mrs.Phelps. Finally, Jim became a free person. Tom said he want to another adventure.

-I read all pages. It's interesting. When I read this book, sometimes I can't understand Tom. He really likes thrill. And I like last of this story. Huck's father is dead. Huck can live comfortable.

I must say that, although I really love this book, I find the ending disappointing. At the end we find out that Jim's owner had freed him, and that he is no longer a slave. It makes me think that all of the struggles that Jim and Huck went through were meaningless; I would rather had Jim fight for his freedom. Still, it's a minor problem in a fantastic book!
