The Old Man and Sea P50--65

It's night now, the old man felt a little bit cold. He thinks he can do nothing with him, the little boy, he missed him. He hread some fish tolling and blowing, he can say the different between they made noise. Then he thought about past, one time when he fish with the boy, they got a female fish, because the male fish always let the female fish feed first. The male fish was beautiful, he tried to save the female fish. The boy was very sad to killed female fish. Before the daylight, the old man fishing a new fish. He thought about boy all time. He always ask himself if the boy is here. He saw some fish in the sea, he said:" God let him jump, I have enough line to handle him." Then a small bird came, The old man was a little bit excited, then the bired flew around the old man's head. The old man was trying to talk to bird, he asked to two questions, How old are you and Is this your first trip? The bird just looked at him all the time when the old man spoke. He found his hand was blooding, he hurt himself when he fishing. The bird had flown away, even the old man had not seen him to go. When he eating a fish he was thinking " I wish the boy was here and that I had some salt" He had a fish to eat, it is a big fish. He doesn't think he can eat that whole. After he ate fish, He looked around the sea, He feel so lonely. He is still fishing and try to get a big fish.......


Opinion:

Until now, I think that is a great book! The writer trys to use an old fishman's story to tell us some life truth! And what is loney and Die. I really like these two sentences, "But he could see the prisms in the deep dark water and the line stretching ahead and the strange undulation of the calm." "Although it is unjust, he thought. But I will show him what a man can do and what a man endures." These two sentences help me to understand a lot things. WHat is a life, and what should I do when I have difficulties or feel lonly. That is a really good book.
