The Old Man and Sea P12--30

When the boy came back the old man was still sleeping in the chair and the sun was down. The boy was very kind. He brought some dinner. They talked about baseball when they were eating dinner. Both of them like baseball so much. The old man went to bed in the dark. He dreamed of Africa when he was a boy and long golden beaches and the white beaches. At morning, the old man and boy had coffee from condensed milk cans at an early morning place that served fisherman. They said Good luck to each other. They spread apart after they were out of the mouth of the harbor and each one headed for the part of the ocean where he hoped to find fish. The moon affects her as it does a woman, he thought. The sun rose thinly from the sea and the old man could see the other boats, low on the water and well in toward the shore, spread out across the current.......
