The story began with Omri's birthday. At school, Patrick gave him a used plastic Indian. After school there was a family tea. His parents gave him a skateboard. He got a helmet from Adiel, his eldest brother and a cupboard from Gillon, his other brother. Then, he put the Indian in the cupboard and locked it. In the morning, the Indian was alive in the cupboard. The Indian became a plastic when he left the Indian in the cupboard. At night, the Indian was alive again. He realized that he can make everything become real if he put it in the cupboard. Next morning, he put a plastic tepee and horse and they became real. He brought the Indian to the park and let him rode his horse. After a while, Omri put the Indian and the horse in his pocket and they came home. The Indian was bleeding because the horse kicked him. Omri put a plastic soldier into the cupboard and he was become real. The soldier patched the Indian up. After the soldier’s done, Omri put him back into the cupboard and he became a plastic again. Then, Omri went to school because his mum has called him so many times.
Actually, this book is harder than Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. There are many new vocabulary that I don't know, but the story is almost the same. It's about a magic.. Can you imagine if you have a cupboard that can make everything become real?? It's really cool, isn't it? What will happen after Omri got back from school?? We will know it next week...
There is a movie of this book, but I haven't watched it. My host father said I should watch this movie because it's really interesting. Is that true??!

sounds fun!!
Oh, I wish I had a cupboard like that! I have a LOT of plastic dinosaurs I would put into it -- and lots of plastic spaceships, too! I would love that.
Yes, I saw the movie, too, and I thought it was delightful. I don't know why it isn't more famous, because I think anyone would enjoy it. I'm sure you can find the video at a library.
