Some mobs were rioting for drug business. Alex and Sampson waited for the team of Mafia hitters to show up and try to take out the Chinese drug overlord- Jiang An-Lo. While Alex and Sampson were guarding Jiang and witness he was killed by a blond man on the street. And the strangest thing was that hit man taking a bow before he left rapidly. Alex seemed to know who did it.
Sullivan's next target was the college girl- Marianne. Because he found Marianne was attending school counselor. Sullivan thought she might leak out the incident that had happened in the bar. Then Sullivan slipped into her room and killed her.
Next day, Sullivan and Jimmy went to a police's house. It's a private action so Jimmy didn't know what to do. Sullivan told Jimmy, he is going to create a little damage in Alex cross's house. However when he entered Alex's house alone, Alex was changing his kid's diaper. Maybe this scene reminded Sullivan about his old times, so he didn't hurt anyone and left.
This was Alex's first time to meet Sullivan. And he felt something was going wrong. Another day, Alex was waiting for his wife after work, and suddenly his wife got gunshots. This accident happened without any sign, he didn't know what the situation was. And he didn't know who is the murderer. He worried about Maria might be dead.

I feel this story include too many detail for me. Maybe I need to look up some words and imagin the developing of story at the same time, so I feel tired of it...

The story sounds complicated! Just take it a little at a time, maybe focus on one character and what happens to him/her.
