- The Adventures of Huckberry Finn is second book of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. At the end of book, Huck and Tom found twelve dollars. Judge Thatcher took their money then invests it in the bank. Huck moved widow Douglas's house. Widow Douglas bought new clothes for him and civilized him. But, Huck was uncomfortable. He couldn't stand it no more. He lit out. But, Tom said he was going to start a band of tobbers, and Huck could join if He'd go back to the widow. Therfore Huck went back. After boring few days later Huck hear meow from his window at night. The meow is signal Tom. Huck meets his friend Tom.
Huck has a father. He almost fifty. He always drunk and hit Huck. Huck doesn't like spend time with his father. One day he comes to see Huck because he heared about Huck's money. But, he knows Huck doesn't have cash on hand and he knows Huck's money at the judge Thatcher. Huck's father threat judge Thatcher for get money. Huck's father cathed Huck. Therfore Huck spend terrible time with father. One day Huck and his father go fishing. When his father consentrates to fishing Huck walks to upstream. At that time he see canoe so, he takes that canoe. And hide it for when he run away from father. When his father goes to town for sell raft, he bring some food, blanket, otehr stuff and gun. Then, he is away below the ferry. He gets into the calm water and landed on the side towards the Illinois shore. He laies down for a nap before breakfast.

-Actually this is my first time to read this book even very famous book. Huck doesn't like restriction so, he wants to run away from Douglas even Douglas acts kindly. His father is very bad person. He always drunk, catched him in the room. Huck always look for chance run away from his father. After all he got a chance. when I read these chapter I think Huck is very poor boy.
I read from chapter1 to chapter4. Untill chapter4, say before Huck's adventure. I expect more interesting story after chpater 4.

This is one of my favorite books. I used to teach this novel to a class, and I had a great time talking about it. It's been called "The Great American Novel;" it deals with many typical American ideas, such as man vs. society, individualism, religion, fathers and sons, freeedom and slavery, adventure, and, of course, growing up. It's a much more serious novel than Tom Sawyer, but it's still very fun, very funny, and very beautiful.

Be careful -- much of the language in this book is not "correct" English. It's the way uneducated people talked in the Southern U.S. during those years.
